The 1 thing that is abundantly clear this sociopath have Ann squarely in his sights and she have unwittingly go the ultimate pawn in a high bet game of true cat and mouse.

The fictional characters while sharply drawn are as unstable as the ink of this phenomenal author's pen. The expert usage of duologue conveys the fictional characters to life and presents a disturbingly delightful reading experience. Although a speedy read, Emmett Kelly saves no pokes when it come ups to complexity, depth and suspense. Palpable latent hostility constructs as the narrative speeds, almost recklessly toward the lurid but appreciated conclusion.

Ann Kelly's tantalising introduction novel is well researched, intelligently portrayed and delivered with unbridled passion. The elusive hints embedded throughout maintain the reader involved and guessing, without preemptive spoilers. The enigma within a enigma lets Emmett Kelly to simultaneously develop multiple angles, cleverly weaving an Byzantine web of homicide and mayhem, past life arrested development and superb detection.
